Crowdstrike Update Fix

1. Confirm that you are getting this or a similar error.
   

   

   
   
2. Click See Advanced Repair Options
   

   
   
   
   
   

3. Click on Troubleshoot
   

   
   
   

4. Click Restart
   

   

   

   
   
5. User your Arrow Keys to move down to Safe Mode, and then hit enter on the keyboard
   

   

   

   
   
   

   
   
6. Sign in as the local administrator
7. Go to start, and type Run (or press the Windows Key + R), and launch the run window and enter the below text, and hit OK
   C:\Windows\System32\drivers\crowdstrike
   

   

   
   
8. In the top right hand side of the file explorer window find the search option
   

   
   
   
   

   
   
9. Search for C-00000291* and it should pull up 1 file. Right click that file and delete it
   

   

   
   
   
10. Once this is deleted, restart the machine and the issue should be resolved. You may have to open up Run again, type CMD and press enter, and enter the command shutdown /r /t -0
