How to Schedule an Event || Step-by-Step Guide

Scheduling an Event


Please take your time and fill in the information to the best of your knowledge. The more information that you can provide in the form, the smoother we can make your event, so please take your time and fill in the information to the best of your knowledge.

  • Once logged into your account, you will be taken to the calendar view of FMX.
  • Click “New Event” in the top right corner, or click on the date that you’d like to reserve



Choosing the Correct Event Type:
  • Community Athletic Event 
    •  An athletic event, practice or game, at a field or gym.
      • Examples: Travel baseball teams, Youth Athletic Associations, AAU, or other non-school sponsored athletic events
  • Community Performance Event 
    • A public or private (performance or practice) fine art or speaking event that requires a stage, complex sound or lighting systems, and/or technical staff. 
        • Examples: Plays, Musicals, Concerts, Public Forums. 
  • Community Public Event 
    • A public event that is not a fine art or athletic event. 
        • Examples: Festival, walks for causes, 
  • Community Private Event 
    • A private, non-technical event that will not be open to the public.
      • Examples: Family Reunions, Weddings, Receptions

Recurring Events:
  • For recurring events, use the “Repeats” option.
  • The custom option allows you to request recurring events that don’t happen on a set schedule.




Required Liability Insurance

Liability Insurance is required for all Iredell Statesville Schools rentals. You will need to upload a PDF copy to your request (Option 1), upload a PDF copy as a response once you’ve received your estimate (Option 2), or provide a physical copy to Bobby Deal at Facilities and Planning (350 Old Murdock Rd, Troutman, NC 28166)

Go to “Schedule Requests” on the home screen, click filter, and then click mine to find your schedule requests. Click on the event you’d like to attached proof of insurance to.



Once you've found the event that you'd like to add proof of insurance to, click "Respond" 



Wait for Event Approval:

After you’ve submitted your schedule request, your event will need to be approved by the building administrator, you’ll be notified when your event is approved or declined.


After your event is approved, you’ll be sent an estimate for the event. You’ll have to approve your estimate before being able to pay your invoice. Please note that your estimate is not guaranteed to be an exact figure for your event rental.

Once your estimate has been sent, you will need to approve the estimate to move forward with your rental. You’ll receive an email with your estimate and a link to approve it.


Once you approve your estimate, you will receive a final invoice. This will be the final price for your rental.

To pay your invoice, you will need to provide a check to Bobby Deal at Facilities and planning (350 Old Murdock Rd, Troutman, NC 28166) during business hours (8am-4pm). Cash is not accepted.

Community Members may also make arrangements to drop a check off at the facility being rented with the on-site facilities admin.

Finalized and Upcoming:

After paying your invoice (Please allow one week to process), your event will be labeled "Finalized and Upcoming" and no further action is required.
